Part-Time - 7am-7:30pm - Days, Varied Schedule to Include 2 12-Hour Shifts, 1 Weekend/Month Required & Holiday Rotation Required - 24 Hours/Week

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, monitors rhythms on the central receiving station at all times for patients of all ages. The Remote Telemetry Monitor Technician identifies patient's rhythm and labels, interprets and documents rhythm strips each shift. The Telemetry Monitor Technician communicates all changes in baseline rhythm to the RN assigned to the patient and secures a strip for documentation.
1+ years of telemetry monitoring experience required. Nursing students will be considered after their first clinical rotation.
Must have telemetry certification or have Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2.
Must pass a telemetry test given during interview.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and have flexibility.
Data entry experience required.
High school diploma required.
BLS-certified through the American Heart Association required.
