Relief (0.3 FTE) - 7pm-7:30am - Nights, 12-Hour Shifts, Every Other Weekend & Some Holidays - 12 Hours/Week

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, monitors rhythms on the central receiving station at all times for patients of all ages. The Remote Telemetry Monitor Technician identifies patient's rhythm and labels, interprets and documents rhythm strips each shift. The Telemetry Monitor Technician communicates all changes in baseline rhythm to the RN assigned to the patient and secures a strip for documentation.
Telemetry monitoring experience required. Will consider nursing students who have completed anatomy and physiology.
Must have telemetry certification or have Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2.
Must pass a telemetry test, if coming with telemetry experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Data entry experience required.
Excellent communication skills and flexibility.
High school diploma and cardiac arrhythmia course required.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
