Talent Acquisition Partner

Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) partners and develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders, designing successful talent acquisition solutions to ensure top talent is hired to meet current and future business needs while providing an exceptional customer service experience. The TAP ensures a continuous flow of talent is available by using proactive sourcing, technology and utilization of external partners.
  • Develop and sustain collaborative working relationships with hiring managers, peers and HR leadership (locally and at the enterprise level). Develop an expert level of understanding of all business areas being supported. Serve as a subject matter expert on recruiting strategy and tactics, and provide consulting and coaching to hiring managers.
  • Interview and screen applicants for business competence, applicable background and skills qualifications to ensure the hiring manager’s requirements and protocols are followed. Ensure all requirements and regulatory concerns are met. Identify any potential conflicts with AJH policy.
  • Manage the recruiting lifecycle, consisting of presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components of the process.
  • Utilizes organizational and time management skills to prioritize critical and important tasks and to meet timelines established by HR leadership in coordination with the departments being supported.
  • Manage talent pipelines to attract a highly qualified, diverse workforce to AJH. Collaborate with hiring manager and HR leadership to develop comprehensive sourcing plans, adjusting channel sources as necessary to identify top talent. Build internal and external relationships to create diverse candidate pipelines for future needs within the lines of business supported. Attend job fairs, conferences and other networking events as needed.
  • Utilize existing recruitment technology, while optimizing leading-edge resources (e.g., social media) to attract and deliver a high-touch, high-quality recruitment experience to candidates.

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of recruitment experience in a comparable organization, preferably in healthcare and/or hospital environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Health Administration or related field.
  • Certification preferred in SHRM, PHR and/or CHRC. Knowledge and use of technology including, but not limited to, applicant tracking systems, HRIS and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels both orally and written.
  • Professional demeanor with a customer service focus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work effectively under pressure and in intense situations and to meet deadlines effectively and efficiently.
  • Works independently.
  • Researches, organizes and analyzes data.
  • Resourceful, takes initiative and uses sound independent judgment.
