Structural Heart Coordinator - RN/RNFA
Cardiothoracic Surgery
Full-Time - Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm - 40 Hours/Week

Responsibilities:
The Structural Heart Coordinator works in collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgeons and the cardiologists of Abington – Jefferson Health to serve the needs of the structural heart patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position is responsible for coordinating care of preoperative patients being evaluated for structural heart procedures, including, but not limited to, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and left arterial appendage occlusion (LAAO). In addition, this position works with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate postoperative care in the critical care and medical/surgical patient care areas. He/she functions in an expanded role, using the nursing process and integrating acts of medical diagnosis and therapeutics. He/she reports to the Senior Director.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, hospital personnel, patients and families.
