Staff Assistant, Community Health
Community Health Education
Full-Time - 8am-4:30pm - Monday-Friday, Occasional Evening or Saturday for Community Programming - 40 Hours/Week
Abington - Lansdale Hospital
100 Medical Campus Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446
Based in Lansdale with one day per week at Willow Grove Campus.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director of Community Health and Nursing Supervisor, Community Health, responsible for the daily operation and coordination of the Abington Health American Heart Association BLS CPR Training Center and the provision of operational/administrative support to the Community Health Department.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of administrative experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public or Community Health preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Current certification as an American Heart Association BLS CPR Instructor or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and meet required deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office.
  • Superior telephone and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Current auto insurance with proof of coverage required. Must possess a driving record free from major violations within the past five years, and maintain an acceptable driving record with no major violations in accordance with Motor Vehicle Regulations and Abington Health’s auto insurance policy. Any and all major violations incurred must be immediately reported to the manager, department head or Human Resources department.
