Emergency Trauma Center Registration
Full-Time - Evenings - 36 Hours/Week

Primary Function:
Under the general direction of the Patient Access Manager, oversees the daily operations and performs related administrative duties, such as problem resolution and quality assurance monitoring, for business processes related to all registrations. The scope of responsibility includes staff scheduling, training and acting as a resource for staff, as well as performing registration, insurance verification and secretarial functions, to help ensure efficient provision of services for all patients seen in the Emergency Trauma Center (ETC), Labor and Delivery (L&D) and inpatient services.

Qualifications:
  • Education & Training: High school diploma required. College degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital business office environment preferred. 3+ years of experience with healthcare insurance verification and patient registrations. Professional interaction experience with multiple allied healthcare professionals.
  • Other Requirements: Computer skills, medical terminology knowledge and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
