PCP Scheduling Advocates
Full-Time - 8:30am-5pm - Days, Monday-Friday with Occasional Evenings & Weekend Work - 40 Hours/Week

This position will be situated in Warminster, PA.

Responsibilities:

In a patient-centered care delivery model, under the general direction of the Supervisor of Scheduling Advocate Program in Physician Practice Administration, and in collaboration with individual practice manager, the Scheduling Advocate works directly with patients to schedule appointments within the Jefferson Health Clinically Integrated Network. He/she assists the clinical providers and the practice in ensuring the care coordination and population management of patients within the Jefferson Health System.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of health industry/practice experience preferred.
  • Experience with hospital registration system, third-party payers' requirements strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, computer skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and establish effective relationships.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
