Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Home Health Clinical Nursing Supervisor, the Scheduler II is responsible for all professional nursing scheduling functions. The Scheduler II performs all compilation of payroll data for professional nursing staff biweekly. Performs all computer-related functions required for scheduling patient care. This position will support the Home Care Patient Flow Center with data entry, data retrieval from medical records, and scheduling the initial home care visit in a very busy Intake Department.

Qualifications:
  • Applicant needs to be able to multitask, be conscientious and have good organizational skills in busy office setting.
  • Must be fluent with Word, Excel and Outlook; be able to learn new software; and possess good customer service skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • 3-4 years of office experience required.
  • Experience in a home health agency or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Scheduling experience required.
  • Good communication skills and be self-motivated.
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft applications and demonstrate ability to learn and work in an electronic medical record.
  • Have knowledge of Word and spreadsheets and strong analytical skills—MS Office.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of home care personnel.
  • Must have ability to multitask.
