Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Office Manager/Coordinator, performs reception, clerical and data entry duties to facilitate and provide quality patient care in an outpatient setting. May communicate with patients ranging in age from 0 to 100+.

Qualifications:
  • Medical receptionist for busy surgery practice.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of medical / surgical office experience, preferably with neurology and /or vascular specialties.
  • Surgery scheduling and precertificaton experience a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Achieve Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association prior to employment and maintain certification thereafter.
  • Professional conduct and appearance, interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, good phone and computer skills. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Preference given to those who have worked in Neurology environment.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required for practices with multiple offices.
