Receptionist - Float - Abington - Jefferson Physician Network
Physician Practice Administration
Full-Time - 8am-5pm - Monday-Friday with Occasional Evening Hours - 40 Hours/Week

Must be willing to travel on a daily basis up to 15 miles. Must be able to do check-in and checkout.

Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the Office Manager/Coordinator, the Receptionist V (Pool) performs reception, data entry and clerical duties to facilitate and provide quality patient care in an outpatient setting. May communicate with patients ranging in age from 0 to 100+.

Qualifications:
  • 1 year of medical office experience required; 2 years of medical office experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Achieve Healthcare Provider CPR Certification from the American Heart Association prior to employment and maintain certification thereafter.
  • This position follows the driving policy of Abington – Jefferson Health which requires one to have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Current auto insurance with proof of coverage required. Must possess a driving record free from major violations within the past five years, and maintain an acceptable driving record with no major violations in accordance with Motor Vehicle Regulations and Abington – Jefferson's Health auto insurance policy.
  • Professional conduct and appearance, leadership qualities, interpersonal communication skills, good phone and computer skills, and knowledge of medical terminology.
