The Physical Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Medicine and Associate Director of Rehabilitation Medicine to carry out prescribed treatments to restore function, prevent disability and/or decrease pain in patients who may range in age from infancy through late adulthood. The Physical Therapist is responsible for maintaining high standards of care as established by the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine. This position reports to the Associate Director of Rehabilitation Medicine.
Education & Training: BS, MS, DPT or certification in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university required.
Experience: 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
License, Certification & Registration: Licensure as a Physical Therapist from the Pennsylvania State Board of Professional and Occupational Affairs or licensure eligibility required.
Other Requirements: Strong communication and organizational skills.
