Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist Program
Part Time, 20 Hours/Week, 7am-7:30pm; Weekend/Holiday Rotation

On-site coverage of inpatients who are admitted to non-house staff-covered services.
Admissions include the General Medicine Floors and non-assigned Critical Care patients admitted and held in the Emergency Department.
Primary responsibility for those patients will remain with the community-based or hospital physician.
The Nurse Practitioner diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions, and evaluates patient responses in collaboration with the attending physician for patients ranging in age from adulthood through late adulthood.
This role emphasizes patient safety throughout all job activities, providing care and service in an efficient manner, while maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
About Abington – Lansdale Hospital
Three-plus years of general medical nursing experience.
Master's degree in Nursing and Certificate from Nurse Practitioner program.
Current licensure as an RN and CRNP in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with Hospital employees, physicians, patients and their family members.
This position is at Lansdale Hospital and includes weekends.
