Under the direction of the Assistant Director, supervisor or Lead Medical Record Staffing Coordinator – Clinical Information Services, implements strategies and coordinates systems with internal and external clients in order to support a complete and accurate medical record. Supports the Bureau of Vital Statistics with birth information. Facilitates the integrity of the Master Patient Index.
Education and Training:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Associate's degree or significant college-level experience preferred.
2-3 years of healthcare environment experience required.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Demonstrates above-average organizational communication skills.
Ability to efficiently multitask and work independently.
Current computer skills preferred.
