Primary Function:
Under the general supervision of the Office Manager/Office Coordinator/physician, provides clinical care to patients in the physician's office. Provides care to patients ranging in age from 0 to 100+.

Qualifications
Education & Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate from a Medical Office Assistant program required.
Experience:
- Medical office and venipuncture experience preferred.
License, Certification & Registration:
- Nationally recognized certification in medical assisting strongly preferred (would also consider a graduate from a practical nursing program).
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
Other Requirements:
- Must meet requirements of PA Act 73 regarding child abuse clearance, if applicable to practice.
- A valid driver's license is required for practices with multiple sites.
