Part-Time (0.5 FTE) - 8am-12pm - Days, Monday-Friday - 20 Hours/Week
Abington OB/GYN Associates - Horsham
300 Welsh Road, Building #2, Horsham, PA 19044
Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Office Manager/Office Coordinator/physician, provides clinical care to patients in the physician’s office located in Horsham.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required, if not certified as a Medical Assistant.
  • 1 year in venipuncture preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate from a Medical Assistant program required (would also consider a graduate from a practical nursing program).
  • Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
  • Achieve Healthcare Provider CPR Certification from the American Heart Association prior to employment and maintain certification thereafter.
  • Valid driver’s license is required for practices with multiple sites.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures.
  • For practices with multiple locations, must have the ability to travel to practice locations.
