Under the direction of the Director of Care Coordination Management, the Manager of Care Coordination Management/Social Work Department is responsible for managing the daily activities of the RN Care Coordination Managers. In conjunction with the Director, the Manager of Social Work and the Medical Director of Utilization Review, ensures compliance with all Medicare regulations, other pertinent regulatory agency regulations and commercial payer contracts for the department. This role ensures that all care coordination management and utilization review processes are consistently applied. The Manager of Care Coordination Management serves as a resource to the care coordination managers, the social work staff and office staff.
Conditions of Employment:
Education & Training: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. MSN preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of case management or discharge planning experience preferred. 2+ years of supervisory/management experience required.
License, Certification & Registration: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Other Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with both internal and external customers. Basic computer skills required.
Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
