Manager, Registration - Abington - Jefferson Central Scheduling
Patient Registration Satellite
Full-Time - 8:30am-5pm - Days, Monday-Friday - 40 Hours/Week

Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning and implementation of omni-channel contact center strategies and operations to influence overall patient satisfaction and consistency for seamless access to services and outstanding customer services to patients, providers and payers throughout the healthcare experience. Improve systems and processes, manage staff and direct all aspects of inbound and outbound contact center operations in a centralized contact center. Implement and review policies and procedures for scheduling and registration. Develop and monitor key performance indicators to achieve service delivery goals. Responsible for staff recruiting, performance evaluation, training and development to obtain maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration required.
  • Three (3) years of customer service experience in a call center environment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of terminology used by insurance and managed care health plans.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Project management skills.
  • Knowledge of functions and relationships within a hospital environment preferred.
  • Proven experience as a call center manager.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and customer service metrics.
  • Solid understanding of reporting and budgeting procedures.
  • Experience in basic financial analysis (cost-effectiveness, cost benefit, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and call center equipment/software programs.
