Human Resource Business Partner

Primary Function:
Under the direction of the Director of Recruitment & Retention, the Human Resource Partner serves as the human resource consultant for designated departments, collaborating on organization development/effectiveness, process improvement, work/role redesign, strategic planning, employee relations, change management and compensation. Works in partnership with department leaders in accomplishing strategic plans in a manner that is consistent with Abington Health's goals and values.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2+ years as a generalist or in a human resource discipline preferred.
  • Education and Training: BS in HR or related field.
  • License, Certification and Registration: SPHR or PHR preferred.
  • Other Requirements: Proven ability to influence behavior through demonstration of expertise and persuasive communication skills. Understands organizational and departmental process strategy, and pursues HR strategy and action to implement that strategy. Demonstrated ability to facilitate group sessions. Experience in handling mediated sessions to achieve conflict resolution. Capacity to provide honest and direct constructive feedback is a must. Ability to multitask, prioritize and work effectively under pressure and in intense situations. Ability to meet deadlines effectively and efficiently. Works independently. Researches, organizes and analyzes data. Resourceful, takes initiative and uses sound independent judgment.
