Actuarial Informatics Analyst
Comprehensive Primary Care Plus
Full-Time - Days - 40 Hours/Week

Primary Function:
Responsibilities include supporting the various reporting and analysis needs of the Jefferson Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). Produces analytics used to measure and quantify Jefferson's Value Based Purchasing (VBP) and associated business partners' experience. These analyses include data from CMS as well as other claims and clinical sources.

This position is part of the Actuarial Informatics team focusing on the identification and measurement of initiatives supported by the department of Population Health.

Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer or other data relevant field required.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related professional work experience in a progressive healthcare setting required.
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (Business Objects, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, database, data mining tools such as SQL/SAS/SPSS).
  • Excellent communication skills with a desire to work in teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and personal confidence with a desire to learn new things.

Conditions of Employment:
Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
